SEA Teacher Project Part 1 (Introduction)

It's been 3 weeks since the first time I stepped my feet out at the land of Chiang Rai. This is my last week, I still didn't believe that I have to go soon. There are so many stories about this place, about the peoples, experiences that I've had. But live must go on, let the memories be your wise, look forward and dream!

 This program is a very big chance for me as I can experience so many new things, so let me tell you about it!

About me, I'm : Elma Selviani, 3rd years mathematics education student of Indonesia University of Education (also known as Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia or UPI), Bandung, Indonesia. Faculty of Mathematics and Science Education. As one of the best university in Indonesia concerning in education field, UPI had graduate thousands of young potential teacher, and is improving its quality to be a Leading and Outstanding University with joining many educational event and program in Indonesia, ASEAN, Asia and over the world.

UPI delegate 8 students for this program, South-East Asia Teacher Project by SEAMEO. 4 students from Faculty of Math and Science Education and 4 students from Faculty of Language and Linguistic Education. 7 students placed in different universities in Thailand, 1 student placed in Philippine Normal University in the Philippines. Professor Furqon as the Rector of UPI officially delegate us at 15th July 2016.

 South-East Asia has multi various culture, religion, language and also education system. SEA teacher project initiated by SEAMEO (Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization), is a very good way to understanding each other as part of South-East Asia, specifically in education field, and to improve quality and experiences of teachers.
