It's Korean letter
called hangeul. Just checked on google translate if you want to know the
meaning, hehe. Few weeks lately I try to come back focus on study Korean. I
really determined to take my master there, that's why I learn it. It's
difficult because I learn by myself, but nothing impossible as long as we
believe and work hard.
Back to the topic, on the last post I’ve written until I and my
friends went to ceremony of Mei Fah Luang, after that we went to another
spot of CRRU, and apparently it was the best spot at the campus area : The Lake
of CRRU. Actually there are several lake I think, but we visited the biggest
one. It was sooooo beautiful,
the lake was so peaceful with garden surround it. In the next day I visit the
lake again with one of my friends (probably I’ll write it in
separate post).

Unfortunately we didn’t get much time to
explore campus area. We had to attend orientation class in the international office
of CRRU. On the previous post I’ve told about Ms. Nok who picked all the
participants up from the airport, this time we met Mr. Teerawat Wangmanee as
the chief of International Affair Division for the first time. Mr. Teerawat or usually
called Mr.T (I don’t know how other people call him, but we decide to call him
so, hehe) is very nice person, although at the first I felt a bit uneasy about
it because looks like he is not as expressive as Ms. Nok. We also met Mr.
Natthapon Santhi or Mr. Nueng, he was our mentor from English Education
Department of CRRU. We expected that we would meet him often to talk and
consult about the internship, but the fact we only meet him twice, at the
orientation and later at the end of the program. Maybe it will be a good suggestion
for CRUU, that it’s better if there is also university observer/mentor come to the class, beside
observers or mentors from the school.

Mr Nueng speaks Englis very well, as I remember
he is the first person that speaks English fluently without Thai accent I’ve
met since I came to Thailand. Actually it was hard to understand Thai-lish
(Thai-English), I have to listen carefully to know what people said. For
example, Thai people will add extra syllable like no, na, kha, or khap in the
sentence.
“Thank you, kha!”
“You already have your breakfast na?”
“It’s easy no?”
There are also some words that can’t pronounced
perfectly by most of people like : because, apple, lion etc. It doesn’t matter
tho, as time passed I was getting used with the accent, even I really miss
Thai-Lish now, as much as I miss Chiang Rai :’(
At the class, Mr. T gave short explanation
about what to do and what not to do in Thailand (for example we have to respect
all things related to the royal kingdom family, we also have to respect all Buddhist
figure or image). He showed us videos about culinary, culture and many more.
One thing that I’ll always remember, he showed us music video of famous band in
Thai, Labanoon. I forgot the song title, but later on it would be a memorable
song for us, even Richsan played it every day.
In another chance, my students sang the song for me when I joined them
in guitar class.
Mr. T then announced the schools that we will
